The State Department for Planning is responsible for formulation, co-ordination of implementation, monitoring and evaluation of economic development plans, policies and strategies towards achieving the national development agenda. The State Department provides leadership in preparation of the country’s long-term development blue prints, Medium-Term Plans and Sector Plans as well as Public Investment Policy and Oversight.
